I have managed to cross most of the flatlands of Argentina in the past week and a half, in Canadian terms, riding from BC to Ontario. It has been an eye opener with respect to the huge agricultural industry which is at the core of Argentina. There are huge tracts with crops going on forever. As well, the Argentines have great horse farms. I saw one today with well over 100 great looking horses in one field.
These vast open areas with the farming and ranching are in direct contrast to the city itself. Buenos Aires is absolutely huge and overwhelming, and for this small town guy quite an experience.
