Digby Nova Scotia Canada

Digby and south to Lunenburg is a fascinating ride and a tour of early Nova Scotias' history.

I have a much better appreciation for the trials of the Acadians and a clearer understanding of their struggles...

The Church is completely built of wood, with huge pillars...

An interesting method of drydocking the boats..

The trawls and doors are huge on these rigs..

Lots and lots of traps for lobster and crab...

This abandoned house intrigued me....

The rocky point on St. Marys

The sedimentary layers are very clear along this coast.  Twisted and turned, but still evident.

I love the lines of this little dory...

The original Lunenburg school....

Again, great lines...

Police dive team...

 The Bluenose II

Incredibly tall masts, and very thick..
